Please join SHACC for a very special evening celebrating the life and art of Rick Griffin. As part of our ongoing Griffin Aquatic Ascendance exhibit, on July 8, 2023, SHACC will be hosting a can’t-miss panel discussion that’s sure to bring depth and understanding to the artist’s extensive body of work, most notably his early work that’s currently on display.

Featuring Griffin’s wife, Ida, and daughter, Flaven, as well notable Griffin scholars, including Steve Barilotti, Jim Evans, Gordon McClelland, Dave Tourje, John Van Hamersveld and Gary Wong.

The event will take place on July 8 from 2:00 – 5:00 pm at SHACC.
