Volunteer

Surfing Heritage and Culture Center maintains a very active volunteer program. If you would like to support our mission by preserving and presenting surfing’s rich history and culture for future generations please consider joining SHACC’S volunteer team.

SHACC Volunteers fulfill a variety of roles at our facility, such as working as front desk greeters, docent guides, archiving, or serving as a committee member. Volunteers also support our staff during exhibition openings and special events, fulfilling duties such as ticketing/registration personnel, ushers, security and food and beverage personnel. All volunteers are responsible for communicating SHACC’s mission and policies, assisting patrons, answering questions, and providing exceptional hospitality.

Volunteers are integral to SHACC’s operations and reputation.  If you would like to join our volunteer team, please fill out and submit the application below. Please contact Linda Michael for any questions regarding our volunteer program call (949) 388-0313 or email to info@shacc.org
